The Word of the Day – EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED – Charest

In The Word of the Day on July 30, 2012 at 10:38 am

EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

Life would be so much easier if it were a straight road. Always seeing what’s up ahead and knowing what to expect, but we know this is not the case. The road of life is filled with bumps, turns, twists and curves filled with unexpected events that we are often not prepared for.

We might sometimes find ourselves traveling a straight part of the road from time to time, but it never lasts for ling. Then the unexpected hits us and we’re off in a different direction.

These are the times that test our positive attitudes and the strength or our character. We work diligently to reach our goals only to get pushed in a different direction. This is what we call the road of life.

Embrace and expect every bump, turn, twist and curve in the road. Understand that it will always there and accept it for what it is because it is a part of the rich beauty of your life. Meet every challenge with the vigor knowing that you’ll be a stronger and better person.

If you choose to resist the most challenging parts of your life, you’ll be faced with more unexpectedness that you can handle.

Learn to live, learn to learn, learn to love and learn to expect the unexpected. By doing this you will become a more positive role model for your family and your life will take a whole new positive direction.
