I played 11 full seasons in the NFL, the first 6 with the Eagles. I played in 80 games for the Birds starting every one of them. During my career I made the Pro Bowl 9 times. Of my 6 seasons with the Eagles I made the Pro Bowl 5 times and was names 1st team All Pro once. I’m still not in the Hall of Fame yet. Do you know who I am?

The answer is Maxie Baughan. Baughan was a 2nd round draft pick in the 1960 draft out of Georgia Tech. He played for Eagles from 1960-65 making the Pro Bowl each year except 1962. He was sent by the Eagles to the Rams where he made the Pro Bowl from 1966-69. He played one more year with the Rams in 1970. He had a brief 2 game comeback in 1974 with the Redskins. In all Baughan made 9 Pro Bowls, started 129 of his 147 career games including all 80 with the Eagles. Maxie Baughan should be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame!!!
