PHI has $104m committed to 6 players for 2013, not counting Hamels, whose market value will be in $20-25m a year range as a FA next fall.
The Phils have their hands full managing their money. They reuped on Hunter Pence for 1 year $10m. I think they need to lock him and Hamels in pretty quickly. There are going to be some derious decisions made after 2012. This is a make or break year as far as I’m concerned.
